FORT MYERS, Fla. (Sept 30, 2016) – A limited number of VIP tickets will be on sale for The Junior League of Fort Myers, Inc. (JLFM) 34th Annual Taste of the Town.

The Junior League’s 34th Annual Taste of the Town is Southwest Florida’s original “taste” event and one of the largest outdoor food and entertainment festivals. This is the signature fundraising event of the Junior League. The event will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at JetBlue Park, located at 11500 Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers.
Each VIP ticket includes admission to Taste of the Town, free parking, unlimited access to the Seminole Hotel Casino Immokalee sponsored air-conditioned VIP tent (air being provided by Unique Air Services), limited catered food “samples” by a few local restaurants unique to the VIP experience, three (3) complimentary beer/wine tickets, complimentary spirit tasting throughout the day provided by List Distillery, complimentary water or Coke products, one (1) free drawing ticket for a chance to win great prizes, a swag bag that includes exclusive offers, shade, relaxed seating inside VIP and access to all areas available to general admission. “VIP tickets tend to sell out fast and provide an exclusive Taste experience,” said Laura Richardson, chair of the 34th Annual Taste of the Town. “Our VIP area is a great value and proceeds help the Junior League of Fort Myers give back to the community through our volunteer services and donations to programs supporting women and children in the Southwest Florida.”
This year’s event will showcase over 30 restaurants, live music and much more. General admission to Taste of the Town is $5, with children 12 and younger free. Parking is $5 and food/beverage tickets range from $2 to $5. Cash only is accepted at the event (ATM’s are available inside the park). No pets or coolers allowed.
A member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., the Junior League of Fort Myers, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
